|
Billie R. Barnes:
Billie joined ZeaVision in August, 2002, as Office Manager. She took on new
responsibilities in February, 2004, as Director of Operations and Administration. Her areas
of responsibility include purchasing, product quality, office administration, human resources,
corporate projects, facilities management and space planning.
Prior to joining ZeaVision, Billie worked for five years at a St. Louis-based, national healthcare
consulting firm, reporting to the President and CEO and managing a seven member administrative team.
Upon buyout of the consulting firm by a publicly traded ophthalmic device manufacturer, Billie served
an additional six years for the new organization as the Assistant to the President and CEO, and as Office
Administrator for the corporate headquarters. She was involved in many aspects of the business,
including tracking and monitoring of team follow-up related to production, quality, and change
management issues, conducting competitive intelligence, and assisting with new business development
and acquisitions documentation. During this time, she also served as the corporate Assistant Secretary.
In this capacity, she worked closely with the executive team and other company officers in the coordination
of Board of Director’s activities, shareholder meetings, and managing corporate and legal records.
Billie graduated from Southwest Missouri State University in December, 1990, with a Bachelor of Science
Degree in Office Administration.
Billie’s spare time is spent with her husband and their son. She enjoys teaching Bible class and
supports her husband’s efforts in running a summer church camp.
Billie enjoys working at ZeaVision, where each individual’s experience and input is valued,
and where teamwork to meet each challenge is expected. She is impressed by the young
organization’s positive role in the nutraceutical industry, demonstrated by the quality
standards set for its products. She respects management’s commitment to ethical business
practices and compassionate customer service — all of which work together to form the
foundation upon which ZeaVision’s dietary supplements, ophthalmic devices, and educational
programs are based. Billie is excited about the new tools ZeaVision is making available
to the eye care community and is thankful to know that she works in an organization that
is making a difference in the lives of others.

Nancy Winkeler:
Nancy Winkeler was searching for a new career path, where she could utilize her skill-set,
which has been perfected over her 15 year tenure of nutritional education and client interaction
and training. Nancy found the ideal position, becoming part of the ZeaVision team, and specifically
training optometrist technicians on the use of the state-of-the-art MPOD (Macula Pigment
Optical Density) QuantifEYE testing device.

Her career started as a Nutritionist with Laclede Gas Company and subsequently Jefferson
County Head Start Program. Nancy worked extensively with Public Relations Department,
educating the public on diet and the importance of nutrition. Nancy designed, introduced
and implemented educational programs to help identify and assess risks of poor nutrition
and then presented solutions to aid in the correction of those issues.

for real estate agents and assisted them in increasing their sales. Nancy became known,
in the industry, for her weekly “interactive” training sessions. Nancy’s real estate
knowledge is great, but her desire remained in training and contributing to the overall
